I live in a geeky household! We have lots of old books and comics sitting around. When the books or comics get torn, the binding breaks or the cover gets lost I cut up the pages and use them for flowers instead of just throwing them away. This was my families paper back copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or aka Harry Potter and Philosopher's Stone and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Kusudama balls are made by folding a single sheet of origami paper into a "petal" for the five petal flower. Once five petals are folded they are combined with glue form the flower. 12 flowers (60 petals) are needed to make the kusudama ball.
This Harry Potter kusudama ball ornament was made with an old copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or Harry Potter and Chamber of Secrets book. The pages are beautifully aged.
You can choose your choice of ribbon color!! Gold and scarlet for Gryffindor House, green and sliver for Slytherin House, blue and bronze for Ravenclaw and black and yellow for Hufflepuff. Choices available are in the property drop down menu. Just state which color combo of ribbon you would like in your note to seller section or send me a convo please.
This Harry Potter book ornament piece is approx. 4 inches in diameter. Approximate ribbon length is approx. 3 inches.

Custom and personalized orders
Yes, I can customize pretty much anything in my shop. I can make custom color schemes for any mobile, ornament, boutonniere or bouquet. I can also customize frames, gift sets and mirrors.
Care instructions
All origami items are made with paper and can not be cleaned with any cleaner or damp cloths. I recommend dusting with a feather duster or Swiffer type duster at least once a month. I also recommend using canned air to clean dust out from inside the folds of the origami pieces. Frames and mirrors may be cleaned using a damp cloth.
Gift wrapping and packaging
If your item is a gift I am happy to add a gift note (on a handmade card) along with an invoice with no prices on it. Please just leave a note for me at purchase. Some items can be gift wrapped (ornaments, frames and mirrors). There is an extra charge for gift wrapping and can be purchased at checkout.
Custom Order Policy
Please note I am happy to make custom orders but they either need to be paid for or have a deposit put down before I start work. Each custom piece is unique and handmade, so they can not be resold if buyers back out before payment. I will send paper samples for approval to make sure orders are what you want.
